Day 1: Marrakech – Tamsahelte
The journey begins in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where you we will travel by car to Tamsahelte. On the way, we drive towards the Draa Valley, known for being the longest valley filled with palm trees. Along the way, there will be opportunities to capture the stunning scenery of the Atlas Mountains.

Day 2: Tamsahelte – Nkob – Handor
We head from Tamsahelte to Nkob where you'll meet the local muleteers who will assist with carrying the equipment for the trek. Depending on the time, lunch will be either in the valley or in the region of Nkob. By afternoon, we will continue hiking to Handor; The first night will be spent here, marking the start of your trekking adventure.

Day 3: Handor to Irissi
On the third day, the trek begins with a gradual ascent towards the Tifdassine Valley, featuring an impressive rocky ridge. As you climb to an elevation of 1800 meters, you'll reach the plateau of Tin Ouayour, offering panoramic views of the surrounding formations. The descent takes you through a gorge, leading to a campsite near the ruins of Irissi. This area is known for its terraces adorned with almond flowers, providing a picturesque end to the day's approximately 7 hour hike.

This day's hike is approximately six hours long, providing a mix of challenging ascents and rewarding descents.

Day 6: Igli to Almou N Ouarg
Today involves a climb through a lava flow and among large rock formations, eventually reaching the hill of Kouaouch at 2592 meters. At this altitude, the views of the massif are truly breathtaking. The campsite for the night is near the spring of Almou N Ouarg, and the day's trek is about seven hours, offering some of the most spectacular vistas of the journey.

Day 7: Almou N Ouarg to Tagdilt
On the seventh day, we start with an early departure for the last ascent to the pass of Ouarg. From there, the trek makes a progressive descent towards the village of Tagdilt, marking the end of the trekking adventure. After reaching Tagdilt, a coach will transfer you back to Marrakech, with a stop for lunch along the way. The return to Marrakech concludes by late evening, where you'll spend the night in a hotel or riad, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the past six days.

Day 8: The end of the trekking in the mountains of Jebel Saghro
Today is the end of the trekking in the mountains of Jebel Saghro after breakfast. We say goodbye to the hiking team, mountain guide, cook and mules and head back to Marrakesh by the car. Our driver will drop you at your accommodation in Marrakech.
