One of the most unique sites in the country of Morocco is the Kasbah of the Udayas or also referred to as Oudayas Kasbah. To the right, you might find Rue Jama which would lead you to a 12th-century mosque and further ahead to the large platform wherein you could admire a spectacular view of the Bou Regreg estuary as well as the Atlantic Ocean. On the left side of the main entrance, you could wander around the winding street lined with picturesque houses in order to reach the banks of the river and enjoy a pleasant stroll into the beautiful Jardin des Oudayas or the Oudayas Garden. The Oudayas Museum could also be found at the top of the garden across the pool wherein you might find an impressive array of traditional Moroccan astronomical instruments, carpets, artwork, and also ancient items like the 12th-century Koran.
