The Jaipur royal family lives in City Palace; they are one of the richest families in India. The palace was built in 1729 and finished three years later. This palace building is a combination between Mughal, Europe, and the Shilpa Shastra India architecture. The architecture of City Palace can be determined from the building’s color and every corner and nook of the palace. The most divine feature of the palace is the rich decorated gateways. There are three main gates on the City Palace, Virendra Pol, Udai Pol, and Tripoli gate. The Virendra Pol and Udai Pol are arranged for the visitors while the royal family uses the Tripoli Gate. The visitors can visit the museum complex where they can have a look at the royal wardrobe and armory and art gallery.
- Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds)
This is a unique palace which has 953 windows that carved in the Rajasthan architecture. The Hawa Mahal palace originally was made to enable queens and royal women families to enjoy the outside nature view without being noticed by other people because the royal women were forbidden to make contact with people outside. The appearance of the palace resembles the crown of Lord Krishna.
- Galta Monkey Temple
Galta Monkey Temple is considered as one of the Hindu holy temples. The temple area is very wide with three holy ponds. One of the ponds is in possession of monkeys that live there. the visitors do not have to worry to feed the monkeys because they are tame.
- Amber Fort
This fort is located in a hill facing the Maota Lake. Amber Fort is originally the home for the Rajput royal family until the Jaipur city construction was finished. Since it was originally the royal place, Amber fort has a number of amazing palaces, gardens, hall, and temples.
- Nahargarh Fort
Nahargarh Fort or also known as Tiger fort is located in Aravali Hill facing the Jaipur City. This fort was built in 1734 to help city defense. Nargargarh fort offers beautiful scenery and the most spectacular view is the sunset. The Nahargarh fort fame was started in 2006 when it became the shooting location of Rang De Basanti movie.
