Casablanca is the economic capital of Morocco. We arrange guided tours in the city, namely the Mohamed V Square, Central Market, the United Nations place, and the big Mosque Hassan II. After the visit of the economic capital, we go to the administrative capital of Morocco: Rabat, founded in 1150 and one of the four imperial cities. This tour includes the Mechouar, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, the gardens of Chellah, the splendid Mohamed V Mausoleum, and Hassan Tower. Overnight in Rabat.
The first part of the day is spent on a visit to the imperial city of Meknes. We visit the famous Bab El Mansour, Bab El Khamis, and the stables of Moulay Ismail. Outside Meknes is Volubilis, an ancient Roman site. Some 30 high-quality mosaics are still in their original position. Then we drive to Moulay Idriss, the holy city which is a pilgrimage for some Moroccans. We continue our way to Fez where we overnight.
On this last day, we visit Marrakech, situated at the foot of the High Atlas. This city is also called “red city” and is also known as the “Pearl of the South”. The city was founded in 1062 by the Almoravids. Our guided tour includes the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia mosque, and the gardens of Menara. In the afternoon we walk through the souks and spice market and then witness the busy life in the Djemaa el Fna square, where several curiosities to be seen, such as snake charmers, storytellers, acrobats, water sellers and musicians, and many stalls selling fresh orange juice. Around the square are numerous restaurants with a terrace on which you have a good view over the square.
