What to bring to a Hammam?

Hi,

The experience of visiting a hammam in Morocco is wonderful. Here’s what you’ll need to bring: a towel to dry off afterward and either a swimsuit or your underwear to wear during the bath, depending on the hammam. The scrubbing glove called a kessa mitt is essential and the black soap is traditionally used to cleanse and soften your skin or you can buy them at the hammam if you don’t have them. Flip flops are good for walking around and you will need to bring shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer for after your skin may well be a little on the dry side but otherwise very soft. The experience is so relaxing and rejuvenating, enjoy it!

Regards,

What to bring to a Hammam?

If you are going to the hammam in Morocco, you should take a towel, sandals, and a plastic bag for wet swimwear. In addition to a toiletries bag with products such as shampoo, soap, and an exfoliating glove. Many people use a cream or Argan oil for their skin after removing dead skin.
