I am planning a trip to Morocco in April and trying to organize everything and adjust my itinerary. I have no idea how long it is best to stay in the city of Marrakech and Fez. I read on travel forums that it is better to spend at least 2 days in both cities.

Any suggestions?

Marrakesh and Fez are two Moroccan imperial cities and two of the country’s top tourist attractions. To explore it, you must have at least 2-3 days to be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the ancient city

Marrakesh and Fez have beautiful old Medina and many places of interest and you need at least 2 days to discover them all.

It depends on your travel style and what you want to discover. In general, 2 days is enough to walk through the colorful streets of the medina and discover the amazing places, but if you go there with a list of things to do in the city, then 2 days is definitely not enough.
