A day trip to Ourika Valley in the High Atlas Mountains

We start our day from Marrakech at 10 o’clock direction Ourika Valley. We discover many landscapes along the way when crossing the high Atlas mountains. We also some small stops on the road to take pictures with berbers people. There are a few places in the valley where you can make a camel ride. When we arrive in the center of the Ourika Valley, we stop for short pause. After that we walk to the waterfalls of the Ourika Valley. We have lunch in a small forest with a wonderfull view over the river.
After lunch we take another way to go back to Marrakech. We spend our day close to nature. On the way to Marrakech we have a photo stop in a Berber village and we also visite some souvenirs shops.

How to get to Ourika valley from Marrakech

By bus from Marrakech, you can easily get to this wonderful valley. If you are looking for something cheaper you can travel with a shared taxi from Bab Dakala in Marrakech. If you have a good budget, I suggest you rent a car for about 300 dh in Marrakech and discover the area on your own way.
