Along the way, you will see something unusual, goats that are skilled at climbing the argan trees. Once we reach the city, our guide will give you a tour of the medina and show you everything the city has to offer. Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour covers the traditions and history of the town. Essaouira has long beautiful sandy beaches. It is not dangerous to both swim and surf. Many activities take place in this beautiful city. After discovering all the tourist attractions, we will go back to Marrakech and the tour will end around 6:00 PM, depending on the traffic. During the journey, you can enjoy the characteristic landscapes of the surrounding countryside.

The beach of Essaouira

The manicured beach of Essaouira is located just outside the old medina. It stretches for miles from the harbor to the ruins of the ancient Borj Al Baroud watchtower and the sand dunes to the east. The wide golden sandy beach of Essaouira is wonderful for walking. At low tide, you can even walk a few kilometers on the beach in the fresh air. You can also sunbathe and swim, but that can be difficult when the wind gets strong. To swim, stay in the safe part of town. Beach football and kite surfing are popular weekend activities among the younger generation, and camel owners invite visitors for camel rides on the sand. Another fun activity to spend a few hours on Essaouira beach is horseback riding.

After crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Mountains, we visit a women-run cooperative in the mountains, where argan oil is produced by hand. We continue to the famous Kasbah. Ait Ben Haddou is a historic series of kasbahs, located in front of the gateway to the desert city of Ouarzazate. Ait Ben Haddou is known for its desert-like landscapes, beautiful mountains, and spectacular sunsets. This small fortified village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been used as a location for many Hollywood movies. Our guide will show you the area and introduce you to the traditions of the local people.

After lunch at a local restaurant on the terrace with a panoramic view of Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue our journey through the picturesque valley with beautiful landscapes to visit Telouet Kasbah. The Kasbah was the seat of the former pasha of Marrakesh Thami El Glaoui before it was overthrown by independence efforts. After visiting this kasbah with its beautiful rooms made of mosaic tiles and carvings, we cross the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.
