Holidays are a crucial part of existence as they allow you to relax your body and soul. One of the places that allowed me to have a superb time in Costa Blanca is Callosa and its sights. The surroundings are amazing and offer lovely views of the waterfalls and mountains. If you’re planning to visit Benidorm, be sure to include the Algar Waterfalls on your bucket list.

Les Fonts de l’Algar, Callosa d’en Sarrià, Alicante
Les Fonts de l’Algar (Algar Waterfalls) is located about 15 km from Benidorm, in Callosa d’en Sarrià. You can explore this nature reserve with its spectacular waterfalls and numerous sources of springs.
This is a protected ecological area and there are lots of opportunities to swim in crystal clear waters. The ticket costs 4 euro for adults and 2 euro for kids during the high season (from 15th June to the 30th of September).
The parking is not free, we paid 3 euro, but if you consume something in the restaurant, you will receive your cashback.
Facilities & extra information:
- Picnic is only allowed in a designated picnic space.
- No pets allowed from 15th June to 15th December.
- Pets are not allowed to bathe in the river.
- Entry with glass objects is prohibited.
- The area has a total of 7 areas available for swimming.
- Medical First Aid and toilets are available on the spot.
- A starting point of the hiking path PR-CV 48.
- The spot is not suitable for wheelchairs
- Seniors and students receive a discounted pricing of 20%.
Where to eat:
