Free Guided City Tour Marrakech
Marrakech is a town in Morocco and lies in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. This red town was founded in 1062 by Yusuf Ibn Tashfin as the capital of the Almoravids.
Desert Morocco Adventure offers you a free of cost city walk tour to discover all what has this beautiful city to offer.
The Marrakech guided city walk tour starts at 9:00 am in Koutoubia Mosque square, Marrakech. The tour includes a certificated city guide. The guide will take you to discover Marrakech most impressive sightseeing. You will visit the most historical monuments such as Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace and Badi Palace. With your guide you will receive interesting information and history of the city.
Later on, you will walk through the small streets of Marrakech’s old medina, you will also visit the famous place which is called Jemaa Fna square. This square is a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2001. In this astonishing square you will be able to see many story tellers, snake charmers, musicians, water sellers, etc.
To be able to answer all your questions about this city by our city guide, we decided to have a maximum of 10 participants per group. There will be 3 groups.
The tour is totaly free, tipping is not mandatory but it’s up to you. All guides are hired by Desert Morocco Adventure.
