How far is Fez from Chefchaouen?

Hey there,

That's awesome! Chefchaouen is such a beautiful place to explore with friends. The distance from Chefchaouen to Fez is approximately 212 kilometers, and the drive usually takes around 3-4 hours, depending on traffic and the weather conditions. It's a scenic journey, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the road trip.

Along the way, there are a few noteworthy attractions you shouldn't miss. One of them is the city of Meknes, which is about halfway between Chefchaouen and Fez. Meknes is known for its historical significance and stunning architecture, including the impressive Bab Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

If you're interested in Roman ruins, you might want to consider a short detour to the ancient city of Volubilis, located close to Moulay Idriss. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a fascinating glimpse into Morocco's Roman past.

Lastly, as you approach Fez, make sure to stop by the charming village of Moulay Idriss, which holds religious significance and boasts picturesque views.

Traveling in your car will give you the freedom to explore these attractions at your own pace. Just be sure to have a reliable GPS or a map handy to navigate the route.

Have an incredible time on your journey to Fez and enjoy every moment with your friends! If you need any more tips or have further questions, feel free to ask.

Safe travels and happy exploring!

Ps: Google Maps doesn't work correctly in the medina of Fes.

Cheers!
