Embarking on 2 days tour from Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga Desert is akin to stepping into a scene from an epic adventure film, where the landscape transforms from cinematic Kasbahs to the boundless, undulating sands of the Sahara. This excursion isn’t just a journey across distance, but a passage through time, offering glimpses into the lives of those who have thrived in these enchanting yet harsh environments for centuries.
Erg Chigaga is considered better than Erg Chebbi desert and gives a feeling of nature. The trip itself is an expedition needing a 4X4 vehicle to navigate the ever-changing sands. This expansive expanse of dunes extends endlessly into the distance providing peace and a deep feeling of being alone.
